Hi Folks…

I’m Doug Hunley and I have created this website to:

A) Get my paintings out into the world for people to enjoy, and

B) Motivate you to donate to a cause of your choice in the process!

Everybody wins!

I’ve been making art in one form or another for a good chunk of my 60 years, and have long since realized I’m not in in it for the money (as if there were any). In fact, I have no desire to make money from my works… but I would like them to do some good in the world.

Here’s how it works:

Each week, 1 or 2 paintings will go up for auction. I honestly don’t care if they go for $10 or $10,000. I want everyone to have a shot at a painting they want.
When you “bid” for a painting, you are actually bidding the amount you are willing to DONATE TO THE CHARITY OF YOUR CHOICE. That’s how you “buy” the painting.
To be clear: You don’t pay me a penny… if your donation bid wins, you make your donation directly to your charity 🙂
Anything goes, except for political campaigns, candidates, or religious organizations general funding (tho if your church is doing something specific to benefit people… groovy!).
If you win the weekly auction, you make your donation, send me the receipt, and I’ll send you the painting (free, and postage paid)! That’s it! Easy peasy.
